Not Back to School Camp is a non-denominational, non-religious homeschool camp. The camp offers workshops, spontaneous events, and special evening gatherings, bringing together campers who are excited about life and willing to be themselves and to reach out and connect with the others.

Desert Home Educators Association (DHEA)
Desert Home Educators Association (DHEA) is a homeschooling support group at Edwards Air Force Base. The Desert Home Educators Association (DHEA) began when two military families (USMC and USAF), new to Edwards Air Force Base, discovered there was a need for an official home educator’s group aboard the base. Although there were groups in the surrounding areas, there were none dedicated exclusively to military members, DOD affiliates, and their families. With the assistance of Edwards AFB Service’s Squadron, they were able to create a charter and gain base approval for the group to function on base as a non-profit organization under AFI 34-223. They are the first ever sanctioned home educators group at Edwards. The mission of the DHEA is to provide support, encouragement, information, and organized group activities for all member home-educating families.
Hemet Christian Homeschool Group and Co-Op
This is a Christian homeschool support group and co-op offering monthly field trips, weekly park days, bible studies, family potlucks, moms night out & co-op classes at a local church. Each HCHG co-op term is 14 weeks long. Members decide their level of involvement. California Homeschool Network's volunteer legal committee doesn't give legal advice, but they can share information about the experiences of other homeschoolers who have asked those same questions, and they can help you understand current homeschool laws and regulations. The CHN Legal Defense Fund was established in 2000 to benefit families who do not qualify, for any reason, for assistance from one of the other legal services organizations.
